Tim is currently a visiting instructor in Economics, teaching Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics. He started at the University of Richmond in 2013 teaching Financial Statement Analysis and did so for eight years before focusing on economics. During his teaching tenure, Tim has taught Intro to Corporate Finance, and MBA Investments and Statistics.
 

Before joining the faculty at the University of Richmond, Tim worked as a sell-side metals analyst for nearly 15 years at Davenport & Co (2005 to 2013) and BB&T Capital Markets (1998 to 2005), both in Richmond. He began his career as an economic/industry analyst at the corporate headquarters of Alumax, an aluminum company based in Atlanta, Georgia.
 

Tim earned a BS & MS degrees in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and he holds a CFA designation.
